Cathy Nichols Story Deck

Last week I posted an interview with Cathy Nichols. Cathy is an artist, a teacher, and the creator of Storycards deck and the new Sychronicity deck. You can use the cards to acess and deepen your inner self.

In this reading I see myself. I enjoy solitude and recently have needed it perhaps more than usual. I’m trying to get into the working world, in a different way. Although there are similarities to what I am doing, there are so many things to learn and try. It seems there are stops, stays and bits of activity. The Solitude card is colorful and depicts that being alone is not necessarily being lonely. The colors are varied and largely primary. They are muted but have a boldness implied in them. The blue feels peaceful.

What do you see in these cards? How might your story fit them? That is one of the things I like about this deck. I love the colors as well as suggestion on the cards. They offer a good balance of providing a starting point but then letting the querent pick up where she wants to go with the suggestion on the card. I’ve found the cards to give insightful readings.
